The McNay Greeters are volunteers who welcome visitors to the museum. Greeters provide information about the museum's current exhibitions, family programs, and special events. A valuable resource to the McNay, new Greeter volunteers are always welcome.
Volunteer Council & Speakers Bureau
The Volunteer Council's purpose is to develop an integrated volunteer structure that will increase the number of skilled volunteers, to enhance relationships with its membership base, and to recruit volunteers to support museum activities. Opportunities for volunteers include a speaker's bureau, assistance with museum events, new member mentoring, communicating with members, and clerical assistance.
If your club or organization is interested in hosting a presentation on the museum's history and collection, please call the Volunteer Office to schedule a speaker.
